Why we love it: The application of Axl Rose's razor tone over a single barbed syllable fueled the palpable sense of menace within the lyric. It's safe to say this line has echoed through many a prison shower since the song's release in 1987.
The experts say: It's rare for someone who stutters to be “cured” of the condition. “A cure would mean, 'I don't have to stop and think or worry about it anymore,'” says Williams. “People can learn to manage it, but a cure is very unusual.”
