Heartfelt/boring. A decent reversal of the usual bad-boy-leads-nice-girl-astray shtick finds hardworking Latino student Jay Hernandez getting tempted off the straight and narrow by Kirsten Dunst’s emotionally damaged drunk. Although Dunst, as usual, is worth watching even when she’s not stretching out her Judas Priest T-shirt, the DVD unfortunately lacks a wake-us-after-the-dull-parts feature.
