One of the first swanky box sets, these four discs trace the brothers’ early groups through later-period highs (Gregg’s unexpectedly alert ’87 hit “I’m No Angel”). Cultists drool over a disc of pre-Allmans cuts, but newcomers may be dismayed by alternate takes of songs heard better elsewhere.
