Live at Leeds – Deluxe Edition
(MCA)
Release Date: 01/01/1970 12:00

With its bootleg brown-paper-bag packaging, Live at Leeds preserved the raw charm of the band’s concerts. This 2001 reissue contains an entire rendition of Tommy – prefaced by a wisecracking Keith Moon – but the Who’s complex chemistry is better realized on the original’s offerings: the sound of four components achieving unison, however temporarily.

STANDOUT TRACKS: “Substitute,” “Summertime Blues,” “My Generation”
