Don't Quit Your Day Job: Athletes
Punk-Rock Pitcher
Scott Radinsky
The former relief pitcher for the White Sox has lent his brawny pipes to eight albums with SoCal punk bands Ten Foot Pole and Pulley. He’s almost certainly the first guy ever to sing the lyrics “I work for a living and I get it done/I’m just another working-class whore” soon after signing a multimillion-dollar contract.
Rockingest moment: After being kicked out of Ten Foot Pole, Radinsky phoned the band’s label, Epitaph, who told him if he started another band, they’d release whatever he did.
