Kid Rock Sued By Tennessee DJ
Rock rapper Kid Rock is being sued by a DJ over an assault in a strip club in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Disc Jockey Jerry Campos filed a lawsuit in Tennessee's Davidson County Court, claiming that Rock punched him at Christie's Cabaret in February after a dispute. Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie) was arrested and charged with assault, but was later released on a $3,000 bond. Campos is seeking $500,000 in punitive damages and $75,000 in compensation.On June 13, 34-year-old Rock pleaded no contest to criminal assault and was handed a suspended prison sentence of 11 months and 29 days. He was also ordered to attend anger management classes.
