As the host of England’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards, Brooklyn rapstress Lil’ Kim shocked organizers with extensive — and flamboyant — backstage requests.

Lil’ Kim (real name Kimberly Jones) demanded a dressing room in London’s Royal Albert Hall equipped with three furry pink walls and a giant mirror on the fourth; the thermostat was to be set at precisely 89.6 degrees. A feng shui expert verified the furniture arrangement.

“These are some pretty unusual demands,” said a source, “but Lil’ Kim is a very unusual lady.”

Stateside, Kim’s boyfriend, Damion Hardy, has been investigated in connection with a September incident in which shots were fired at 50 Cent and his entourage. A few hours before the shooting, 50 Cent taunted Kim on New York’s Hot 97 radio: “I wrote ‘Magic Stick’/I gave Kim a hit/Then I refused to shoot the video, she threw a little fit.”
