Jackass’s Steve-O and Chris Pontius are launching Wildboyz, a new Crocodile Hunter–style nature show that premieres October 26 on MTV.

On the series, Steve-O — who was arrested last year for stapling his scrotum in public — travels with Pontius to South Africa, Alaska, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Australia and Florida. During their journeys, they dress in mouse costumes and wrestle with snakes, play keep-away from hyenas with a chunk of meat, run naked with reindeer and, as Steve-O told Blender, “party with a bunch of cool Zulus.”

According to MTV, animal experts are on hand to make sure the exotic wildlife remains unharmed. The activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, however, maintains that “confusing and taunting animals who [don’t] understand the ‘joke’ is cruel and inexcusable.”Naysayers cannot dampen Steve-O’s enthusiasm: “The wilderness just got a whole lot wilderier!”
