The Worst Duets We Know

2. “Dancing in the Street,” Mick Jagger and David Bowie (1985)
Back in the mid-'80s, when there were actually people under the age of 45 who still considered Bowie and Jagger the twin thin paragons of cool, this song sounded like the result of a drunken late-night bet (“Just how big a dump can we take on the public’s head before they turn on us?”). When it became a hit, Jagger and Bowie raised the stakes with a prance-happy video. When that was aired to much acclaim at Live Aid, they gave up and went back to making crappy records.

1. “All for Love,” Sting,  Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart (1993)
Famine. Plague. Pestilence. “All for Love.” God is dead, and no one cares.
