Nine Inch Nails
With catchy pop-hook injections, Nine Inch Nails brought the industrial sound, a fusion of metal noise and techno beats, to a wider audience in the early and mid-’90s. Trent Reznor, born on May 17, 1965, in Cleveland, is the only real member of the band, though he performs live with a regular lineup.
