Singer-guitarist Thom Yorke formed Radiohead in Oxford, England, in 1988 with fellow university students Ed OBrien on vocals and guitar, Johnny Greenwood on guitar, his brother Colin on bass and Phil Selway on drums. Their first hit, Creep, was originally released in 1992 and became an American hit the following year. Adding an electronic element to their three-guitar Britpop, their third album, 1997s OK Computer was a breakthrough smash. Their fourth album, 2000s Kid A, debuted at the top of the American charts.Reviews
