Franz Ferdinand
Singer-guitarist Alex Kapranos formed Franz Ferdinand in 2002 in Glasgow, Scotland, with bassist Bob Hardy and drummer Paul Thomson. Guitarist Nick McCarthy joined soon thereafter. The group released its debut EP, Darts of Pleasure, in 2003 to the excitement of its rapidly increasing fan base. Franz Ferdinand's self-titled debut full-length, released the following year, received critical raves.In The Studio With Franz Ferdinand
