While still in high school, Canadian sisters Mercedes (guitar, vocals) and Morgan Lander (drums) formed this all-female glam metal band in 1997, with singer-guitarist Fallon Bowman and bassist Tanya Candler, whose dad drove them to gigs. They got scouted by Artemis Records, but by the time their debut,
Spit, was released in 1999, Candler quit and was replaced by Talena Atfield. They followed with 2001s
Oracle, and Jennifer Arroyo replaced Atfield in March 2002.
