L.A. Guns

The original "Guns" of Guns N' Roses, metal guitar icon Tracii Guns split with band before it released an album. He formed L.A. Guns in 1987 with singer Phil Lewis, drummer Steve Riley (formerly of WASP), guitarist Mick Cripps and bassist Kelly Nickles. The group's biggest success was their second album, 1989's Cocked and Loaded, which featured the hit single "The Ballad of Jayne." There have been several changes to the group's lineup over the years, but L.A. Guns have continued to tour and record new music, including 2002's Waking the Dead and 2003's Fully Loaded.
