After getting her big break as one of the "Fly Girls" on the Fox sketch show In Living Color, Jennifer Lopez landed the role of murdered Mexican singing superstar Selena Perez in the movie Selena. She then logged parts in movies like Money Train and Out of Sight and released the hit album On The 6 in June 1999. In 2001, Lopez' J. Lo album shot to number one on the same weekend as her movie, The Wedding Planner. Lopez released another hit album, That Was Me…Then in 2002. When her brief marriage to dancer Chris Judd ended, she began dating actor Ben Affleck, with whom she became close on the set of the box office bomb Gigli. The couple was engaged in 2003 and split in January of 2004. In June 2004, Lopez married Latin singing star and actor Marc Anthony, which was her third marriage, and set about recording two 2005 releases, Rebirth and a Spanish language album.
