Mick Jagger

Michael Phillip Jagger was born on July 26, 1943, in Dartford, England. One of the most important figures in rock history, Jagger began his solo endeavors with 1985’s She’s the Boss, two decades into his career with the Rolling Stones. With heavy rotation on MTV, two charting singles and favorable reviews, the album went platinum. Jagger’s third solo effort, 1993’s Wandering Spirit, got rave reviews but didn’t sell. He continued to make records with the Stones, but it would be eight more years before he released another solo effort. In 2001 he released the critically praised Goddess in the Doorway.
