Mobb Deep

Hailing from the Queensbridge housing projects in Queens, New York, Prodigy and Havoc first met at Manhattan’s Graphic Arts High School. The hardcore MCs released their debut album, Juvenile Hell (1993), on the 4th-n-Broadway label while still in their late teens but didn’t garner much notice until they released their second album, The Infamous, on Loud Records in 1995. Their follow-up, 1996’s Hell on Earth, debuted at No. 6, and 1999’s Murda Muzic, which included the hit "Quiet Storm," debuted at No. 3.
