Otep
Los Angeles quartet Otep's affinity for goth- and occult-inflected imagery won them raves from Marilyn Manson. Fronted by female lead singer Otep Shamaya, the band released its debut album, Sevas Tras, on Capitol Records in 2002. Their follow-up, House of Secrets, gained attention for the controversial, anti-establishment video for the single "Warhead."
