Ginuwine
Elgin Baylor Lumpkin (a.k.a. Ginuwine) was born October 15, 1975, in Washington, D.C. He emerged in the ’90s as the suave lover boy of R&B. With innovative producer Timbaland, he recorded his 1996 debut album, The Bachelor, which was driven to multi-platinum status by hits like “Pony,” “Tell Me Do U Wanna” and the Prince cover “When Doves Cry.”
