Puddle of Mudd
Singer-guitarist Wesley Reid Scantlin formed this alt-metal quartet with guitarist Paul James Phillips, bassist Douglas John Ardito and drummer Greg David Upchurch in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1994. In 2001 they became the first band signed to Fred Durst’s Flawless Records.
