Sepultura
Brazilian death-metal band Sepultura formed in 1984, with Max Cavalera and vocals and guitar, Igor Cavalera on drums, Paulo Jr. on bass and Jairo T. on lead guitar (who was soon replaced by Andreas Kisser). Their music's sonic ferocity combined with their unique brand of positivism and sociopolitical commentary earned them a loyal following. In 1996 Cavalera split amid tensions with the band and formed Soulfly. Cleveland native Derrick Green stepped in on vocals, but the band's subsequent releases didn't sell as well.In 2004 Sepultura released
Under a Pale Grey Sky, a live album of their 1996 gig at London's Brixton Academy, their last gig with Cavalera.
