Born on May 26, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona, Stephanie Lynn Nicks and fellow high school student Lindsey Buckingham played together in the band Fritz. They struck out on their own as a duo in Los Angeles in 73, but their album bombed. In 1974 they were asked to join the ranks of Fleetwood Mac. With Nicks and Buckingham, the band reached new heights, selling over 17 million copies of 1977s Rumours. In 1981 Nicks released her solo debut LP, Bella Donna. She penned many solo hits throughout the 80s Stop Draggin My Heart Around, Leather and Lace, Edge of Seventeen (Just Like the White Winged Dove) while still performing and recording with Fleetwood Mac.Reviews
