Creedence Clearwater Revival
Brothers John and Tom Fogerty, Doug Clifford, and Stu Cook formed this quintessential American rock & roll band in 1967, in El Cerrito, California. “Proud Mary” was their breakout hit on 1969’s Bayou Country. John Fogarty’s knack for writing hit singles like “Down on the Corner,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain” and “Lookin’ Out My Back Door” propelled the group to continued chart success until they broke up in 1972.Reviews
