The Black Crowes

Brothers Chris (vocals) and Rich Robinson (guitar) formed the band in 1984 in Atlanta. By the time they released their 1990 debut smash, Shake Your Money Maker, the roster also included Johnny Colt, Jeff Cease and Steve Gorman. The Otis Redding cover “Hard to Handle” propelled the album to triple-platinum sales. They haven’t enjoyed as much chart or critical success since. In early 2002 the band announced they were on hiatus.
