Born to Cuban parents on September 26, 1981, in Jersey City, New Jersey, pop singer-songwriter Christina Milian grew up in Waldorf, Maryland. Milian began her entertainment career as a one of the junior journalists on the Disney Channels Movie Surfers. She made guest appearances on several TV shows (Clueless, Get Real) before turning to singing. Her break came with her contribution to Ja Rules 2000 No. 1 single Between Me and You. The next year she co-wrote Jennifer Lopezs hit Play and released her self-titled debut album.Reviews
