The Game (born Jayceon Taylor) took up rapping after a bullet nearly killed him while he was manning a crack spot in Bellflower, California. While healing from the gunshot wounds, he began to write out a plan to change his life, and soon he transformed his plan into lyrics. He recorded a 30-track demo that was picked up by Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath/G-Unit Records. His debut album, N.W.A. Vol. 1, will be released in early 2005.Reviews
