Bubba Sparxxx (born Warren Anderson Mathis) grew up in rural Georgia. He was discovered by So So Def Records producer Shannon Houchins, who worked on Sparxxxs 12-song debut, Dark Days, Bright Nights, released in 1999. The album caught the attention of Jimmy Iovine at Interscope Records, who signed Sparxxx to the label and re-released Dark Days, Bright Nights as a full-length in 2000. Legendary rap producer Timbaland worked on six of the tracks, including the hit single Ugly. He released his follow-up, Deliverance, with production work from Timbaland and Organized Noize, in 2003.Reviews
