Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have become the most successful contemporary country duo to date. Their 1990 debut album broke country chart records, and the follow-up, 1992’s Hard Workin’ Man, sold over 4 million copies. Originally from Louisiana and Texas, they met in Nashville and have scored hits like “Brand New Man,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” “She Used to be Mine,” “Little Miss Honky Tonk” and 1996’s “My Maria,” which earned them a Grammy.
