Barenaked Ladies
Canadian teenage friends Ed Robertson and Steven Page founded Barenaked Ladies in 1990 with brothers Jim and Andy Creeggan and Tyler Stewart. Guitarist-keyboardist Kevin Hearn replaced Andy Creeggan in 1994. Though the band earned their pop-rocker cred, the BNL catalog is generally seen more as comic relief than groundbreaking musicianship. Their 1998 single “One Week” made Stunt their most successful record and earned them a Grammy nomination.
