Babyface

Singer, writer and producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds was born on April 10, 1959, in Indianapolis. His album Tender Lover (1989) went double platinum with the hit singles “It’s No Crime” and “Whip Appeal.” He co-founded LaFace Records in 1989 with former the Deele bandmate L.A. Reid and became a pop heavyweight, writing and producing for Whitney Houston, Madonna, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, TLC, OutKast and many others. Babyface has gone on to even more success in producing and scoring film soundtracks for The Bodyguard, Waiting to Exhale and Soul Food.
