Afroman
After moving from L.A. to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Joseph “Afroman” Foreman hooked up with keyboardist-bassist Daryl Havard and drummer Jody Stallone to collaborate on a brand of comedic hip-hop. The popular slacker anthem “Because I Got High” spread like wildfire across the Internet by file-sharing fans and drove his first major-label album, The Good Times through the summer of 2001.
