Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Adam Sandler received a fine arts degree from NYU in 1989 and joined the cast of Saturday Night Live soon after. He quickly became an audience favorite with characters such as Operaman and Canteen Boy. In 1993 Sandler released his debut comedy album, They're All Gonna Laugh at You, which achieved gold sales and earned a Grammy nomination. The following year Sandler landed his first major film role, in Airheads, and has since starred in such comedy blockbusters as Billy Madison (1995), The Wedding Singer (1998), Big Daddy (1999), and Anger Management (2003).Reviews
