Formed in 1995 and named after their Las Vegas area code, Kameelah Williams and sisters Irish and Lemisha Grinstead were discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition and quickly introduced to R&B hit-makers, including Missy Elliott. Missy penned four songs for the trio's 1996 debut, No Doubt, including the hit "Steelo." The successful relationship with Elliott continued in 1999 with 702, and together they cracked the Top 10 with "Where My Girls At."
