Shaquille O’Neal
Born on March 6, 1972, in Newark, New Jersey, Orlando Magic and L.A. Lakers seven-foot basketball star Shaquille O’Neal released his debut rap album, Shaq Diesel, in 1993, with production help from Ali of A Tribe Called Quest, Def Jef, Erick Sermon and Fu-Schnickens. The same year he made his film debut with a cameo in the Chris Rock flop, CB4, which led to starring roles and soundtrack contributions for 1996’s Kazaam! and 1997’s Steel.
