While that other show was happening last night (more on that in just a bit), new venue Shank in Brooklyn played host to an evening of heavy metal and heavy merrymaking.
Valent Thorr headlined (their cover of Bad Brain's Sail On was particularly rousing), and were supported by Tournament, Golden Error, and Acid Tiger.
