Since its 1999 debut, the VOODOO EXPERIENCE has called New Orleans home. Set in the city’s legendary City Park, the wide-ranging line-up this year reflects the multitude of cultures that define this historic and beloved American city. In its ten-year run, more than 800 performers--ranging from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Eminem to a variety of New Orleans’ artists including the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Original Funky Meters and Irma Thomas--have come to New Orleans to worship the music at the annual event.
Blender.com is providing fans with a backstage pass to the festival taking place over this Halloween weekend, and “Fuse Fest: Voodoo 2009” premieres on November 6 at 10pm ET on the FUSE network. The broadcast will feature performances from KISS, Jane’s Addiction, Flaming Lips, Lenny Kravitz, Wolfmother and more.
