New Weezer Video: "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To," Plus The Top 5 Weezer Videos Ever

The countdown to Raditude, Weezer's awesomely titled seventh album has been on since the October 27 release date was announced. Now, a few days out from Release Day, we've got our first full-length, visual look, and it's... sumptuous. Rivers and his mates fend off a foul temptress whose beauty nearly drives the band apart in this gorgeous-looking vid. And dig the kids on the hay bales!

It's a cool clip, but how will it one day rank in the Weezer Video Pantheon? Watch below and judge for yourself, and after that, check out our Top 5 Weezer videos.

BLENDER'S TOP 5 WEEZER VIDEOS

5. "Undone (The Sweater Song)"

Weezer's debut single and video was a succinct introduction to the band. A chill, almost lazy vibe is communicated via (appealingly) dragging guitar lines and conversation snippets. The mood changes, of course, when that EXPLOSION of a chorus hits.

4. "El Scorcho"

Weezer's 1996 sophomore effort was darker than its sunny, mega-popular debut, so of course upon release it was scorned by the critics and the public alike. The critics and public have since come to their senses.

3. "Keep Fishin'"

Weezer have never been shy to launch themselves into the more childlike corners of pop culture. On "Keep Fishin,'" the band perform on '70s mainstay The Muppet Show, which was always more adult than it let on, not unlike Weezer. And where's Pat?!

2. "Pork and Beans"

The video for this 2008 Red Album single is as meme-tastic as it gets, drawing in myriad stars and clips of YouTube-driven, modern day internet culture. Chris the Britney fan, the Afro-Ninja, and Tay Zonday, among others, make actual appearances, while other parts of the video find the Weezer men acting out other Internet phenomena faves.

1. "Buddy Holly"

This 1994 track from their debut was Weezer's second video, but the one that really announced the band as superstars. The Spike Jonze-directed video places Weezer at Arnold's Diner within the fictional, 1950s-set Happy Days universe. You see, Buddy Holly recorded in the 50s, and Rivers Cuomo looks like Buddy Holly, plus the kids at the diner seem to give the song a ten out of ten. It all makes sense.
