Longwave Tour Diary: Towson, MD

After a series of challenges involving natural disasters and some personnel changes (among other things), NY indie rockers Longwave are back on the road as of last week. Currently opening for OK Go, we've asked that they report back to us while on tour by regularly filling out and returning a questionnaire to Blender.com. Below is the first installment of Longwave's tour diary.
Date: 3/9/09
Place: Towson, MD
What this Town is Known For: Towson?? College? Who knows?
Best Thing We Consumed Today: breakfast at an Amish diner in Philly.
Thoughts on the Previous Night’s Show: Good job. Our friend Keith is filling in for (guitarist) Shannon. He battled a guitar and amp that he had never played before to emerge a hero.
Roadside Attraction of the Day: OK Go's tiny trailer packed to the roof with gear.
Currently Listening To: new U2, Scout rough mixes.
Last Place You Slept: Um, a bed. in Philly?
Last Bathroom We Used: Dressing room at Recher Theater, I washed my fancy earplugs until they were no longer gross.
What We Learned Today: How to beat our lighting guy Bobby at pool.
Challenge of the Day: Playing the Irish guys in Oppenheimer, sneaky snooker players.
Triumph of the Day: Keith!
