Grizzly Bear Confirm New Album Title: It's Veckatimest
One of the more hotly anticipated albums of 2009, and probably THE most anticipated indie album, is the Grizzly Bear jam due to drop in late May. And, thanks to GB's Ed Droste's twittering, we now have a confirmed title: Veckatimest. Ed confirmed the title in a tweet just after 2pm ET, sent on the day that they are mastering Veckatimest with Sterling Sound's sterling Greg Calbi. Veckatimest is an uninhabited island off the coast of Massachusetts. Let the fan pilgrimages begin! Meanwhile, here's Grizzly Bear almost a whole year ago on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, debuting "While You Wait For The Others," the recorded version of which will be found on Veckatimest.
