Will Pogues' McGowan Make It?

Every year the Pogues celebrate St. Patrick’s day by playing a gleefully deranged show at Roseland Ballroom in New York City. This year, in addition to the usual NYC gigs, the Irish rockers will play a string of dates beginning March 7 in Miami and concluding March 21 in Boston. This is exciting news but it raises the following question: Will the band’s legendarily debauched frontman Shane MacGowan (left) be able to hold it together for several weeks of solid touring? In order to pump MacGowan up – remind him that he’s not alone in his lunacy – we’d like to open the floor to discussion of the most debauched rockers in history. Five that would make our list: Courtney Love, Iggy Pop, Sid Vicious, Ozzy Osbourne, and Brian Jones. Who would you nominate?
