“Weird Al” Yankovic Totally Plagiarizes Blender!

So, for a sidebar in a recent T-Pain feature, we transformed associate editor Mark Yarm into T-Yarm – we got dude a red top hat, white sunglasses and some Patron, wrote a song called “Staycation (Girl),” about balling on a budget in these financially uncertain times, and sent him into the studio to get the whole thing AutoTuned beyond recognition.

Lo and behold, veteran song parodist “Weird Al” Yankovic just released his latest gag, a recession-themed take on T.I.’s chart-topping “Whatever You Like.” From Al’s “Hey girl” intro to the belt-tightening, citybus-riding lyrics, though, we were struck by a few similarities!

IN CONCLUSION: “Weird Al” totally jacked our Recession&B swagger!
