We've hated Archuleta all season, but we have to admit he dug deep into his bag of heartless rubber soul last night to make David Cook sweat. So why is he on the wrong side of Dial Idol's predictor poll? As Andew Lloyd Weber might say, it's all in the eyes:

DAVID COOK SHOULD BE THE ONE ON THAT STAGE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEING CROWNED THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL..HE IS SOO DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE..ARCHULETA IS THE TYPICAL AND COMMON AMERICAN IDOL WINNER..CUTE SMILE,CUTE VOICE, GIRLS LOVE HIM..AND HE IS YOUNG...DAVID COOK HAS GOT THE ULTIMATE PACKAGE: THE VOICE, ORIGNALITY, ETC...HE ROCKS AND HE SHOULD BE THE ONE TO WIN AMERICAN IDOL'S SEASON 7....HOPE TO BE NOT DISAPPOINTED...GOOD LUCK DAVIDC YOU ROCK!!!!

and like as if cook didn't close HIS eyes half the time - don't know why they picked on david a for this, he was not the only one and he was certainly not the worst - cook was worse

hey there - no you are so wrong - i admit archuleta is meek, but he will grow to be a dynamite performer and with great lasting power - (remember paul anka and bobby darren - probably before your time, they were meek and mild in the beginning but had the guts to put it together with it counted) cook will do well, but on the night's performance, simon is right, david a came to win - cook was somewhere in space - he lost it when it really counted and david a came through like a TRUE CHAMPION - you have got to give him his due for that and i believe the fans will !!

I think that it time for a rocker with alot of talent like David Cook wins this time. I was so angry when Chris Daughtry didn't win American Idol that I vowed to not watch it anymore. This season David Cook has won over my heart and deserves to win hands down.
