Three 6 Mafia"I'd Rather"
While this new video from Memphis's Oscar-winning journeymen won't win any visionary awards anytime soon (strip club, yelling into the camera, ass shots, etc.), the song is revolutionary in its own little X-rated way. In fact, the hook aims to disrupt the world's traditional sex-act hierarchy simply, succinctly and politely: "I love havin' sex, but I'd rather get some head." Elsewhere, things are slightly less polite ... and slightly more obvious: "She's a slam dunk like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar," according to DJ Paul, who is lazy. This song will not win anyone an Academy Award ... unless they invent a new honor for Best Song Most Likely To Be Used in a Generic Strip Club Scene.
