New Kids on the Block

They're back! Whether your older sister will still be excited for this reunion once she sees the $50+ price tag on tickets for the inevitable summer tour is yet to be seen, but it seems like one of the biggest boy bands ever (55 million albums sold worldwide!) are going for the man band thing for real this time. Their comeback single doesn't revive the pimple-popping excitement of "Step By Step" or "Hangin' Tough," instead going for a more en vogue minimalist approach. And not only does it sound modern, its lyrics are built for today's virtual world. "Pose for me, pose for me/ My camera loves you," sings the quintet, sounding a little like singer-"actor" Ray J ("It's a Kodak moment/ Let me go and get my camera"). These are the same Handycam hounds Mariah is worried about on "Touch My Body" ("I best not catch this flick on YouTube"). Because, when it comes to today's R&B, making love doesn't count unless there's photographic evidence.
